You know how my heart skips a few beats whenever I can share a destination wedding in a place like this one. Kiran and Jez's wedding was a stunningly stylish affair set in the romantic town of Positano, along the Amalfi Coast in Italy. The groom, Jez, a highly-regarded and decorated fighter pilot in the UK Royal Air Force and his beautiful bride, Kiran, a well respected doctor, were both stationed at the same airbase when their eyes first met. Says Suzanne, who is one half the photography team of Belle Momenti, "This is a couple so obviously in love, they were an absolute dream to photograph! Their Master of Ceremonies, also a highly-decorated US Marine, as well as the groom and his party were dressed in full military uniform (despite the Italian sunshine pushing temperature into the mid 30s!) - complete with swords to form a 'sword party'. In the afternoon sunshine and with the smell of fresh jasmine in the air, the couple exchanged their vows on the terrace of the Positano's Wedding Hall overlooking the turquoise Mediterranean sea below. After having some photographs taken in the key locations around Positano, including down by the shoreline, the couple rejoined their guests for an intimate reception dinner - on an outdoor terrace with breathtaking sea views. The couple stayed at the beautifully-stylish Palazzo Murat - one of the more opulent (and most central) locations in Positano, with fabulous views from their many Bougainvillea-covered balconies. With such a fun-loving and stylish couple in this pretty and bustling town, there were many moments that reminded us of old Hollywood movies and of course the film 'An Officer and a Gentleman'! We were both delighted and honoured to be able to capture their beautiful wedding on camera."
