How about a little time honored tradition mixed in there with some of the most cutting edge looks in bridal fashion? Our canvas for this editorial is the pastoral Presidio Riding Stables out at Fort Cronkite in San Francisco. My friend, Samantha Smith who is a lifestyle and fashion photographer developed this lovely rustic theme. When we got together to toss around concept, we knew we wanted horses, plenty of countryside and distressed old barns that look like they are about to collapse any minute. The juxtapose of these elements seems to accentuate the luxurious fabrics and laces. What the whole crew who worked this shoot loved most was the incredibly gorgeous the day and how the natural light brought out the best in these pieces. Kudos to all who participated in creating this stunning inspiration.

Three of my favourite wedding dresses from Catherine Deane's 2012 Collection featuring vintage inspired lace wedding dresses with lace backs and illusion necklines.

Leticia Wedding Gown:

Delicately gathered tulle forms the foundation of the dress with the bodice incased with a layer of invisible tulle embroidered in flowering branches.

Lita Wedding Dress:

Sumptuos silk satin underlay dress is with a relaxed silk tulle bodice and petal shaped skirt edged with pearls and antique silver bead and 3 dimensional flower embroidery. The dress is fully lined in silk satin with bust cups.

Lia Wedding Dress:

Antique french lace inspired embroidered silk tulle dress with long sleeve. The dress is fully lined in silk satin with bust cups and boning for support.

Recycled Fabric Bohemian Wedding Dress.

The top is bandeu style strapless top, made with raw silk, and a raw silk flower design on the left side of the bust. The skirt is created using layers of vintage and recycled fabrics and laces that are a mix of different shades of Ivory. It is fully lined with 100% Habotai Silk.
